Tonight is getting into an accident with no insurance
Tonight is another baby being born into a family with no money
Tonight is losing the only person you ever trusted to drug addiction
Tonight is spending your last dollar on a lottery ticket and losing
Tonight is losing your hand in a freak accident
Tonight is living in a cardboard box cause you didn’t finish high school
Tonight is killing your sister cause you were driving drunk
Tonight is falling into a fire and no one helps you out
Tonight is wanting, wishing but not having.

I love this poem, it totally depresses me.....but in a good way. i really like the last line, the way you worded the sentance makes me want to memorize it and repeat it over and over again.

this is a good poem. fits the mood it feels like today. but not really today but tonight sence its TONIGHT IS..... and all but it was a great poem
